Long, fun weekend and first day at the new job

Well it took me quite awhile to get up to date on all the blogs I "follow" as I have not had a chance to do so since Thursday. Now time to catch you all up on what I've been up to since then!

Most of the weekend consisted of eating and drinking and I feel like I've gained about 10 pounds but its probably more like 2-4...but my weight typically fluctuates in a 2-4 pound range anyway so hopefully it'll go away rather quickly.

Friday was my love's birthday AND our pre carpet walk through....oh AND my Fresno friend, Lauren came into town!

That night we went out on the town for Kevin's birthday...I don't have many pics of that night (or the weekend for that matter) as they are all on Lauren's camera like last time...here's a funny one of the three of us though:

Saturday was spent being hungover until noon or so and then doing some shopping! Later that evening, Kevin, Lo, and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings and watched the UFC fights and had dinner...then went to a friend's house for some beer pong but didn't stay out too late due to being tired from the night before and running around all day.

Sunday we did a little more running around, then went over to Maria and Karl's for a "3rd" of July/Kevin's bday party BBQ. We had a slip-n-slide, kiddie pool, squirt guns, beer pong, lotsa food, fireworks, and more. It was a super fun time!

Then on Monday we slept in and then Lo headed home :( Later in the afternoon some of my family members, as well as Kevin's parents, came over for a 4th of July BBQ and also to celebrate Kevin's bday some more. We ate way too much and played lawn darts! Finally that evening, we headed over to a friend's house to watch a local fireworks show (as he has a great view from his house)! The show was pretty good but we didn't stay very long after it ended as Kevin and I were both exhausted and had to be up early this morning for work.

OH! My sister also came home and visited this weekend :) She, her boyfriend, and her roomie also came to Maria and Karl's house for the BBQ Saturday!

Today was my first day at my new job...to be honest, I am a little overwhelmed but I expected to be (as I mentioned in an earlier post), but I am sure I will be able to get it all figured out over time. All the girls in the office seem to be very nice and get along well with one another, which is awesome! It was a very long, fun weekend, plus a long first day at my new job, so I am exhausted....I will not be attending the gym tonight. My workout routine will most likely be a little touch and go between now and when I move as I get off work later now than at my old job AND it is at least an hour drive home (once I move it'll be more like 10-15 minutes)...so hopefully I don't get too pudgy...am definitely going to at least try to do well food-wise (and am only about 50 calories over my goal for today and do not plan on eating anything else before bed).

Anyway...it is time to let my brain relax and unwind, so until next time...
